Allan has been a Linux user since the days of Redhat 4. His first computer was a Commodore 64 which he still has (along with several others that he inherited from Linc).
He got started on the Techshow when he showed up at Dann's door with a mixing board to help with the start of the show and it seems that they haven't been able to get rid of him since.
He currently works in the electronic industry as associate engineer helping to produce ICs for the cell phone industry. He also feels that he may spend too much time behind a computer and not enough time riding his motorcycle.
